H1-histaminergic antagonist.
Indications: Motion sickness
Cats have no histamine receptors in the CRTZ; therefore, antihistamines are ineffective in treating motion sickness in this species.
Side-effects: Hyperactivity or depression, hypersalivation, tachypnea, and tachycardia.
