Description
Anxiolytics. Blocks serotonin pre- and postsynaptically and acts as a dopamine agonist. Lack sedative effect. Delayed onset period of between 7 and 30 days, not recommended for cases of acute anxiety.
Indications: Anxiety-related behavior. Urine spraying in cats
Side effects: Rare increased playfulness, increased aggression, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting.
Precautions: Should be used with caution in working dogs as it may affect their performance.
